Marco Sterk

Marco Sterk began his entrepreneurial career when he left FedEx in 2006 and founded The Longbow Group LLC. Marco is recognized by his peers as an accomplished aviation management professional with a strong international aviation career stretching over 20 plus years. He has expertise in evaluating global aviation industry trends, Airbus & Boeing aircraft designs and operation, defining cost-effective business strategies and developing technical systems for increased operational efficiency. He graduated in 1988 with a B.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering from the Netherlands. He has been an ISTAT member since 2003, which allowed him to further expand his professional relationships in the global aviation industry. Marco is married and has a college-age daughter attending the University of Memphis. He and his wife Kerry enjoy traveling, scuba diving, boating, golf and tennis. (Click here for a full bio)

 

David (Dave) Hansen
Vice President, Aircraft Marketing & Analysis

Dave Hansen joined us in December of 2007 with over 40 years of aviation experience working at various aircraft manufacturers. He began as an Aircraft Performance Specialist with McDonnell Douglas and was active in the analysis of DC9 developments and certification of the DC10. He moved to Fokker Aircraft USA and participated in sales campaigns at Piedmont Airlines, US Airways and American Airlines performing performance and economic evaluations. He represented Fokker on the FAA Rulemaking Advisory Committee – Noise Assessment Working Group and assisted in qualifying the Fokker 100 at SNA airport.

After joining Airbus North America Dave advanced to VP Airline Marketing while handling the marketing responsibilities for successful sales campaigns at UPS, America West, US Airways and Skybus Airlines. He brings performance and economic analytical skills and experience in airline traffic and revenue analysis. He also has broad experience in the marketing and analysis of freighter aircraft. Dave received his Batchelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He lives in Annandale, Virginia and enjoys collectable automobiles and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
